It's time to move (on)

Sorry guys, I've been away from my blog but hopefully I'll start catching up.
Since I moved to the new apartment things have changed a bit. Actually I didn't finish moving, this is the last week of the month and I still have to move stuff from the old house... I know, my bad! I've been so lazy.
I don't even have my cable sorted out so there's still no TV and no Internet and in a weird way it has been a nice experience, nowadays I thought I couldn't survive so much time offline but I was wrong. Lots of music and Xbox 360 make a perfect alternative :-)

In the meanwhile, the weekends have been very tough! So many things have happened that I don't even remember it all! Three weekends three great parties thanks to Vitor as always.
He organized a party at club NL, then it was his birthday at Zebra Lounge and then again another party at The Mansion, and what a party that was! For some reason I enjoyed this last one a lot more but I'm not gonna tell you why :-P

Now the time has come, I have to finish moving all my stuff before Wednesday!
My very good friend David is coming to Amsterdam from Portugal and by that time I want to have everything worked out, not to mention that Queen's Day is almost knocking at the door! Another big weekend, another BIG party!

Dude, Where's My Car?

The center of Amsterdam is quite an expensive place to park your car if you don't have a parking permit, it's like 3 EUR per hour.
Since I live in the center and it takes about 5 years to get a parking permit and have a car, I've decided to park the car outside the center where I don't have to pay anything.

The other day I realized that it had been a while since I last saw the "damn" car so, while I was buying some stuff for my new rented apartment, I decided to stop by the parking lot where I last left my car, just near the center of Amsterdam (Sparklerweg).
Me and Vitor, my partner in crime, looked for the car in the parking lot and there was no signs of it, nada, niente! The car was gone, outta there!

Not that it was a very big surprise, the car was old and had the right rear wheel punctured, but what was amazing was that I didn't know anything about it, who took it, where is it, does the police have it stacked at some dump or it was just stolen?

Oh well, I still don't know if I should get angry or happy about it. The truth is that I didn't use it that often since I started to work in Amsterdam again so they might have just made me a favor.
But at the same time it reminds of very good times I've spent with it, riding the roads with the top down and feeling the wind right in your head!

If you never drove a convertible, you should at least try it once. Just go for a road trip with yours friends or family and you'll have an experience you'll never forget :-)

My name was on the list

Oh my gosh! These last few days have been pretty hectic!
First I started the moving operation to the new apartment! Friday I got the keys and started moving some of the stuff to the new house. It's getting there but I still have until the end of the month to finish everything so no hurries.
Then that evening it was party, party, party! It was the best way to celebrate the occasion.

But if I want to talk about partying I have to talk about Saturday. "My Name Is On The List" was a party organized/promoted by Vitor, my very good friend and new room mate.
Like the name says, you had to be on the list to get in the party at club NL.
The party was just amazing, I had tons of fun! The place is very nice although it can get pretty busy at the dance floor. The music was awesome as well (if you like dance/house music) and it had all the ingredients to be a great party and it was!
I saw people I hadn't seen in ages, met some nice people too and maybe I'll have the chance to go out on a date soon again, do you think she will call? ;-)
Anyway thanks Vitor, for sure it was a great party, everybody is talking about it and I wish we'll have the chance to have a couple more like this one, Good Luck!

Sunday was definitely more relaxed but still I went to bed pretty late so this week I promised to take it slow... ehrrr, did I mentioned I had my fingers crossed? :P

Ahahahah, catch you later!
