Wonderful Monday

Yesterday was one of those unexpected situations that are always welcome, things that just happened when I didn't plan anything and it turned out to be an excellent evening spent with my friends.

Rodrigo and Joanne dropped by my place to say goodbye since they are leaving to Goa, India on Thursday (bastards!!!) for three and a half weeks! What I didn't know was that Kevin and Fabrizio where also going to join so in the end was a very nice evening being all together with friends.

Kevin will join Rodrigo and Joanne in India and I was supposed to go there as well but it won't be possible for me which means that I'm staying in Amsterdam for New Year's Eve.
The problem is that I don't really have anything planned for that night, there will be a dinner at Bernardo's place, that's for sure but we are still looking for a nice place to go out and celebrate the upcoming year, what do you people suggest? ;-)

Guess what, maybe it's better not to plan anything and who knows if the 1st of January 2007 won't be another wonderful Monday? :-)

Happy Birthday Roland!

Christmas is definitely here, everyone I know that works for companies had or will have the respective Christmas Party soon.

Tomorrow, December 13th 2006, it's eBuddy's time. I don't even know what's planned to build up the surprise factor, but as always I'm sure it will be something nice, specially knowing who's behind the arrangements (Go Lissa!) and I still have to buy the "Secret Santa Special" gift! I'll make sure I'll post some pictures of the party!



On the other side it's the birthday party of my good friend Roland and I won't be able to go to his dinner which makes me very unhappy at the same time. Maybe we'll end up meeting later - we are going have lunch together anyway... which reminds me that I still have to buy him a gift too!

Oh boy! tomorrow will be a busy day, there still lots of stuff to do at the office.
Damn! I should go to bed!

- now I can disclose it, Roland's girlfriend gave him a trip to Tokyo as a birthday present :-) Have a nice trip!

Fantastic Fantasy

Yesterday I went to the RAI to see a show from Holiday on Ice called Fantasy thanks to my friend Claudia that works in the company producing the show.

It was in fact a really nice show, I had never seen a musical performance on ice full of ice skaters doing all those breathtaking tricks sometimes even putting their own life at risk!

The combination was perfect, the music selection as also pretty good (better just with a live orchestra), the scenarios were very rich, the wardrobe phenomenal and so were the choreographies! You can really tell that there's a lot of people behind a show like that where everything has to be perfect in a show that takes around 2 hours and a half!

I have to admit that I was a little bit skeptical in the beginning but but soon enough I knew that i wouldn't regret it, it was a wonderful experience and I'm very proud that my good friend Claudia is involved producing such show!

A big hurray for her and I'll be here waiting for the next one :-)

Sempre a bombar!

Diogo and Tiago, two great friends of mine from Portugal, are in town!
It's amazing how simple things like having your friends around can influence dramatically your state of mind! In this case in the best possible way of course!


I don't expect to have any kind of rest while they are here visiting but I do count on having lots of fun, after all there's nothing better than being surround by friends whatever the circumstances are, right?
